Through the years, whether serving high schoolers with Campus Crusade for Christ, or as a Bible College professor, or Police Department Chaplain, or as Highland Park's Singles or Shepherding pastor since 1991, we all have come to appreciate "Gordo's" zeal for our Lord and His people. Brian Atkins	Student Ministries	Brian Atkins oversees our Student ministries at HPBC. Ask him and Brian will tell you quickly about the multiple loves in his life: communicating the Word of God to young people in fresh and applicable ways, music and worship, building relationships with young people, and talking and helping them work through their stage in life. Nancy Baughman	Early Childhood	Although quick to point out that preschoolers are more my size, Nancy Baughman brings a big heart and lots of experience – close to fifty years – to children’s ministries. David Borror	Ministry Administration	David Borror serves as our Ministry Administration Pastor and brings his passion for equipping God's people for ministry in the local church and helping them to grow in maturity in Christ. Jeremy Einem	High School Ministry	Jeremy Einem is a Co-Director of the high school ministry, The Crash. He takes on a bulk of the teaching responsibilities and is in charge of Wednesday night programming. He graduated from Spring Arbor University with a B.A. in Pastoral Studies and plans to continue his studies at Moody Theological Seminary where he will work towards obtaining an MDiv. Derrick Jackson	Music/Worship	Derrick Jackson is the Minister of Music and Worship at HPBC. He comes to us from Nashville, TN and was born and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia. He has served in ministry for 10 years. Derrick has received two Bachelors degrees in music and a Masters degree in music. He is currently finishing a Masters degree in theology from Moody Theological Seminary.	Email contact form
Dave Kuntzman	Business Manager	Dave Kuntzman serves as the Business Manager. He and his wife Julie have been married for 25 years and have three children. Andrew (23) lives & works in Colorado Springs, Joel (21) is a student at Michigan State, and Kate (19) is at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.	Email contact form
Sue Reddypogu	Elementary Children's Ministry Director	Sue has always loved working with children, and has been an active volunteer in our Children's Ministries at HPBC. Whether it be a fun activity like doing puzzles with preschoolers or teaching a class for elementary children, she enjoys it all. Her passion is to help create an environment where kids are excited to learn about God's Word, apply it to their lives, and then to reach out to their friends who have not yet heard about Christ. Brent Slater	Senior Pastor	Brent Slater is the Senior Pastor of Highland Park Baptist Church. He was raised in Africa as the son of medical missionaries and then, after receiving his seminary training at Denver Seminary, he was sent out by HPBC to serve the Lord in Uganda. He planted churches and developed leaders in Uganda for 22 years along with his wife, Inell, and their three sons.	Email contact form
Jimmy Smith	Young Adults	Jimmy Smith began serving as our Young Adult Pastor in June 2011. He and his wife Amber come to us from Charlotte, North Carolina. He brings five years of pastoral experience along with five years of marketing experience in the motorsports industry.	Email contact form
Cathy Tanana	Women's Ministry	At Highland Park we love Cathy Tanana's humorous, honest, and insightful style as Director of Women's Ministries. After-hours she leads Bible Studies for the spouses and girlfriends of Detroit Tiger baseball players. Her enthusiasm for the game comes from her 33-year marriage to Frank, former all-star pitcher and now all-star witness for Christ.	Email contact form
