At HPBC Gordon Ainsworth oversees all things related to Pastoral Care. Through the years, whether serving high schoolers with Campus Crusade for Christ, or as a Bible College professor, or Police Department Chaplain, or as Highland Park's singles or shepherding pastor since 1991, we all have come to appreciate "Gordo's" zeal for our Lord and His people.

While studying aerospace engineering at Oklahoma, Gordon gave his life to Christ and soon answered God's call to pastoral ministry. Have an Old Testament question? Ask Gordon. He received his Doctorate in Old Testament from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1988. Listen closely and you'll soon discover why he is a sought-after teacher and preacher of God's Word around our campus.

Gordon married his sweetheart Tammy in 1972 and ever since she has greatly enjoyed his piano artistry at their lovely home in Farmington whenever she can snag him away from reading about WWII or watching Sooner football games.
