International Friends is a strategic outreach to the international student community in Southeastern Michigan, and is an opportunity for members and friends of HPBC to participate in building a relationship with students from around the world. Within two miles of our church, there are over 600 international students.
International Friends provides an at-home context to impact the world, where your current life-style creates the catalyst to build a friendship with an international student, opens opportunities to share about American culture, your family traditions, and your faith in Christ.
International Friends, in partnership with a local university, has created a comprehensive outreach program that provides an opportunity for students to meet Friendship Families and to make Conversational Friends. It has been reported that over 90% of international students never enter an American home during their studies in this country.
Won’t you join us to reach out and become a Friendship Family or participate with English Corner?
