The Stand is the college and young adult ministry of Highland Park Baptist Church. The Stand Gathering happens every Sunday evening at 7:00 pm in the Chapel. This is our group meeting where we worship together and are challenged to not only think, but to act on what God calls us to in His Word. Everyone is welcome but the focus is on single men and women, ages 18 to 20-something.

On Sunday mornings at 10:15 am, our college/young professionals, and couples meet separately to build community and tread deeper into God's Word. This is a great time to fellowship with peers, challenging and learning from each other. This is also a great time to connect with the broader church community in our Weekend Celebration services at 9:00 or 11:15 am.

Stand In - These gathers will be in the Student Center, have a single worship leader or small band and more opportunity for discussion.

Home Stand - Small groups will meet in various host homes. They will share some food, stories, a time of prayer & discussion and ultimately serve together.

Big Stand - Periodically we will encourage everyone to come back from school/work to gather together for worship, teaching & fellowship.

Missions Trips - We have 2 mission trips planed. The first is from May 22-29 and is to Jamaica to work with the Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf. The second is from May 30-June 5 and is to Dearborn, MI to work with Angel House. If you would like to apply for either or these trips please fill out the application by clicking here.
